I resisted this movie theater for many years because there was no way I was going to pay $15 a ticket. This summer however I found out that all shows on Tuesdays are only $8! It is now my favorite place to see movies on Tuesdays. The first time I went with my daughter this summer I bought food from inside the theater and we ate at our seats. The food was okay but slow to come out and overpriced and I hated the taste of my alcoholic drink. Now I have my Tuesday night perfected. Because it is a Tuesday there is always plenty of parking and the theater is never crowded. We get there as close to 5 pm as possible and buy our tickets at the kiosk for a 7 o'clock or so movie. We then walk one door down to Bar Louie who serves half priced appetizers and cocktails and on Tuesdays they have an amazing $5 burger and fries. So much nicer and cheaper than eating in the dark at the theater. If there is time we get a little cupcake dessert from across the street and then head into our movie. The theater is always clean and comfy with over sized soft leather seats and the bathrooms are immaculate. No more sticky feet from the same priced Regal cinema.
This is our go to movie theater! We won’t go anywhere else. We love the atmosphere, comfy chairs and food selection!
My wife and I go a couple times a month. Friday afternoon is usually slow and uncrowded. Since we typically go on off days and times I started to think it was always like that. Imagine my surprise going Saturday night to see a new film. The place was packed. Still great tho. We are members and get a free popcorn every once and awhile with our points. Nice Spot!
I go there several times a month, i became a member as it gives me reduced prices and i accumulate points which has given me free movie tickets or food in the past. I have eaten their fries and chicken sandwiches, both are excellent!! Ambience is great, staff have always been helpful and polite. I'm only small but i love the oversized comfy lounge chairs. The only theatre i go to now.
I live across from the Promenade & I love Silverspot! Last May after purchasing some tickets online, I was unable to go but I kept my receipt & email. Recently I wanted to redeem the credit & purchase new tickets, so I went and spoke to the staff who directed me to their manager Jimmy. He was patient & courteous and after working it all out he made sure I could come back at any time to redeem my tickets. His customer service was outstanding & its just another reason me & my family will always return to Silverspot. Thank you.
